Title:  Manager, Operations

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop the O&M team
• Ensure the entire operations of the oil field are conducted in compliance with SSHE and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of safety plans 
• Review and supervise the implementation of operations programs
• Establish the necessary contracts required for the O&M of the oilfield and manage the activities of contractors and service providers.
• Optimize operations in relation to wells, reservoirs, facilities, and business drivers while ensuring compliance with SSHE requirements 
• Communicate effectively with all management, other departments, and external parties.
• Prepare and present regular reports on operations & production performance and progress. 

Requirements:

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Required skill(s): Proven experience in oil and gas production operations, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards. Strong knowledge of oil and gas production processes, equipment, and technologies. Proven ability to identify issues, analyze complex data, and develop practical solutions. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Key quality(s): Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving. 
• Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Desired experience/exposure:  Minimum of 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas Production Sharing Contracts (PSC). Extensive hands-on experience in offshore operations, both as an operator and within operations and maintenance contracting. Specialized expertise in Mobile Offshore Production Units (MOPU), Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) systems, storage tankers, oil production operations, gas compression and dehydration systems, and water injection systems.
