Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the Group's people strategy, ensuring alignment with the Company's corporate vision, business priorities and long-term growth objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Board, CEO and Executive Leadership Team on all people, culture, organisational capability and workforce-related matters.
  • Drive organisational design and workforce transformation initiatives to ensure the organisation remains agile, scalable and equipped to achieve its strategic objectives. 
  • Lead the development of a high-performance culture by embedding performance excellence, accountability, collaboration, innovation and employee engagement throughout the organisation.
  • Provide enterprise-wide leadership over the full spectrum of the People function, including talent acquisition, leadership development, learning and capability building, total rewards, employee experience, industrial and employee relations, performance management, HR operations and HR governance.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition, retention and workforce planning strategies to attract, develop and retain high-calibre talent required to support current and future business needs. 
  • Leverage people analytics, workforce data and industry benchmarks to provide strategic insights, monitor organisational effectiveness and support informed business decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation of the People function by adopting HR best practices, technology and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Lead the development of the Company's employer value proposition and employer branding strategy to strengthen the organisation's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Oversee the management of the People function's budget, resources and strategic initiatives to ensure optimal utilisation and measurable business outcomes. 

 

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline. 
  • Required skill(s): Proven track record in developing and executing Group-wide people strategies that support business transformation, organisational growth and long-term corporate objectives. Proven track record in organisational transformation, change management, workforce planning and organisational design. Strong financial acumen with experience in managing HR budgets and resources 
  • Key quality(s): Strategic, commercially astute and results-driven leader with exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. Possesses strong business acumen, sound judgement and integrity, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead organisational transformation, build high-performing teams and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement. 
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Desired experience/exposure: Minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior management role in a similar capacity, with proven experience in HR strategic planning and execution. Extensive experience leading the full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, succession planning, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations, organisational development, HR operations and governance.
