Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full spectrum of procurement operations, including Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), tenders, and Requests for Proposal (RFP) processes.
  • Review, verify, and approve all PR in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure all PO are properly endorsed and approved by authorized approver before being released in the Acumatica Procurement Module.
  • Lead, guide, and support Procurement Executives, ensuring high performance and adherence to objectives.
  • Review and analyze the Annual Vendor Evaluation to maintain a comprehensive and validated Approved Vendor List (AVL).
  • Develop and implement effective category management and sourcing strategies to drive cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, and supplier market analyses to identify strategic opportunities and mitigate procurement risks.
  • Negotiate long-term agreements with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership, covering aspects such as pricing, service levels, risk-sharing, and warranties.
  • Establish and manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs aimed at enhancing supplier performance and fostering innovation.
  • Champion and lead digital procurement initiatives, including e-procurement tools, spend analytics, and process automation.
  • Regularly update procurement policies and procedures to ensure strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.


Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration/ Business Management/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Required skill(s): Hands-on experience with ERP or e-procurement systems (e.g., Acumatica or equivalent). Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, tendering processes, and sourcing best practices. Familiarity with procurement compliance standards and reporting. Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management capabilities. Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Key quality(s): Proven leadership and team management skills. High attention to detail with strong organizational ability. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.   • Desired experience/exposure: Minimum of 10 years of relevant procurement experience, including both operational purchasing and strategic sourcing/category management. At least 3–5 years in a managerial role with a track record of leading and developing procurement teams.
