Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic account management plans to drive revenue growth and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Identify new business opportunities including cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Lead account planning activities and align customer strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and monitor forecasting accuracy to ensure achievement of revenue targets.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including operations, delivery, product, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to sales representatives or account executives supporting assigned accounts.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze sales metrics, and implement strategies to improve revenue performance.
  • Prepare and present regular account performance reports, sales forecasts, and strategic reviews to senior management.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or any equivalent
  •  Possession of an MBA or professional sales certification is an added advantage
  • Required skill(s): Strong understanding of business development principles, sales cycles, and revenue growth strategies, with the ability to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, supported by strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities across all levels. Ability to develop and execute effective business strategies to achieve sales and growth targets, with strong analytical skills to assess market data, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. 
  • Key quality(s): Result-oriented, ambitious, highly motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Desired experience/exposure: Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management. Proven track record in managing strategic or key accounts and consistently achieving revenue targets. Experience in handling complex sales cycles and client negotiations is essential. Experience in leading or mentoring sales teams will be an added advantage.
