Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and implement value creation opportunities across the Group, including revenue enhancement, cost optimisation, operational efficiency, margin improvement, business expansion, and portfolio optimisation initiatives.
- Provide strategic, operational, and financial advisory support to business units to strengthen decision-making and long-term business sustainability.
- Support post-investment integration, synergy realisation, and performance enhancement initiatives for acquired and invested businesses.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, business plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor and track execution of strategic initiatives to ensure timely delivery and achievement of targeted benefits.
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation programmes, and strategic change initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strategic KPIs, performance scorecards, and monitoring frameworks to measure progress against objectives.
- Support annual strategic reviews and long-term planning exercises with Management and the Board.
- Lead the Group's corporate planning, forecasting, and long-term business planning processes.
- Coordinate business plans and priorities across business units to ensure alignment with the Group's overall strategy.
- Drive cross-functional strategic projects, transformation initiatives, and value creation programmes across the portfolio.
- Provide financial insights and strategic analysis to support investment decisions, capital allocation, resource prioritisation, and business planning.
- Establish and oversee enterprise-wide performance management frameworks across the Group.
- Monitor and analyse business performance against approved budgets, strategic plans, financial targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop management dashboards, performance reports, and business intelligence tools to support executive decision-making
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any equivalent
- Membership of Association of Chartered / Certified Accountant or equivalent
- Required skill(s): Demonstrates strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and sound decision-making skills. Possesses proven leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire, influence, and align cross-functional teams and senior management towards shared strategic objectives. Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial insights and business information clearly and effectively to management, business units, and key stakeholders

- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Desired experience/exposure: Must have a minimum of 15 years of senior management experience in a similar capacity, preferably in financial management, investment, or strategic planning within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and the successful execution of strategic initiatives is required.
