Title:  Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities to enhance existing software applications and implement necessary improvements.
• Design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define effective technical solutions.
• Develop custom components, integrations, and extensions to extend the functionality of the OutSystems platform.
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure application reliability, performance, and quality.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest OutSystems features and functionalities, recommending enhancements and optimizations where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, deployment procedures, and user guides.
• Perform technical troubleshooting to resolve application issues efficiently.

Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

Required skill(s):  

• Proficiency in C# or similar programming languages.
• Strong web development skills, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Familiarity with web services (REST and SOAP) and web security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices.
• Solid understanding of web and mobile application development principles.

Desired experience/exposure:  

• OutSystems certification is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as an OutSystems Developer, with at least 1 year of 
  hands-on experience in the platform, including Service Studio, Integration 
  Studio, and LifeTime.
• Experience in interpreting requirements, identifying gaps, and refining 
  project specifications.
